Salorix raises $3.5 million in series A  round of Funding
California: Salorix, a social media marketing and analytics firm developing a new platform for social media campaign management, has raised $3.5 million Series A investment from Inventus Capital Partners and Nexus Venture Partners. The funds would be used to advance the efforts in the development of technology and provide the customers with comprehensive and expanded solution sets for managing their social media campaigns effectively. Founded in 2009 by Santanu Bhattacharya, Salorix simplifies and scales social media engagement. The Salorix Social Marketing Platform enables multi-channel listening, social media campaign planning and engagement in a unified framework. Santanu Bhattacharya, CEO, Salorix has led the Analytics Center for America Online and has spent many years as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney. He did his Exec Business in General Business Management from MIT Sloan, and pursued a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Maryland College Park. Inventus Capital Partners backs entrepreneurs first and foremost.
