Kwik-E-Mart

Kwik-E-Mart, 2-Eleven, Universal Studios, Florida, Hollywood, The Simpsons Movie, The SimpsonsKwik-E-Mart was a set of fictional convenience stores, which sold usual items at very high prices in the animated television series “The Simpsons”, which was brought to life in July 2007. As part of the promotions of “The Simpsons Movie”, a total of 11 2-Eleven locations in U.S. and one in Canada were transformed to Kwik-E-Marts. These marts also sold promotional products from the movie, including Squishees, Buzz Cola, and Krusty-Os cereal. Apart from these 12 stores, majority of the 7-Eleven stores sold special edition Simpsons-themed merchandise. The promotion resulted in a 30 percent increase in the profits for the stores, and many of the stores ran out of the promotional products within a few days from the start. In October 2007, a gift shop was modeled after Kiwk-E-Mart and opened at Universal Studios, Florida and in Hollywood.
