2. Mercedes Benz A-Class Compact Car

German luxury car major Mercedes-Benz launched the all new A-Class in the compact segment at an introductory price of 21,93,500 for the petrol variant and 22,73,500 for diesel.

The two new A-Class models are A 180 Sport and A 180 CDI Style, available in both petrol and diesel options, and have one of the best fuel economy in the segment.

Buoyed by over 400 bookings received within 10 days of the launch of A-Class model, Mercedes-Benz India is considering local assembly of its luxury compact car.

Globally, the A-Class has been a run-away success with over 90,000 bookings within months of the launch. The A-Class also comes with service packages like 'star ease' and 'star care'.

While the petrol version comes in 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder engine, the diesel model sports a 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder engine with streamlined aerodynamic design.
