India's Deadliest Terror Attacks Till Today

3. Mumbai Terrorist Attack 2008:

This blast can be considered the latest one happened in India till date. Yes, Mumbai terror attack that took away the peace throughout the nation from 26^th Nov, 2008 to 29^th Nov, 2008 can be most probably considered as a nightmare episode. This horrific attack on Mumbai took away the lives of around 164 people injuring more than 300 people in that 3 and a half day span. The attack started from Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus, followed by Cama hospital, Leopold Café, Metro Cinema, Taj Hotel, the Oberoi Trident, Nariman House. The final battle between the terrorists and the Indian military force ended on 29^th November, 2008 at Taj Hotel. As it was reported on different sources, all the terrorists were well trained and came from Pakistan. This was another time where the bitterness between both the countries increased and it is still not been solved. One of the best example for this rivalry was the Pak cricket team was banned to enter India and neither Indian cricket team entered the Pak soil for a very long time, until the present series that is happening between both the countries in India.

The attacks only terrorist who survived was hanged recently in the month of Nov, 2012, after the Supreme Court rejected his plea.
