Dexetra Raises funds from One97 Mobility Fund
Cochin, Kerala: Cochin-based mobile app developer, Dexetra Software Solutions has raised funds from One97 Mobility Fund. The funds would be used to scale the team size and the technology. Co-Founded by Narayan Babu and five others in 2010, Dexetra develops apps for almost all mobile platforms: iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry. Dexetra developed its product Iris in flat eight hours due to a 'high speed coding race'. In its next app, they plan to add features which would update the app without the user having to update it; add multi-lingual support; and the ability to add calendar appointments. They specialize in self-discovery and personal search over the mobile and cloud layers. Babu has previously worked with Robert Bosch GmBH as a senior software engineer. He has done his B.Tech in Computer Science from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. The One97 Mobility Fund is a $100 million setup, which supports entrepreneurs who are willing to create trend-setting companies. Its vision is to provide meaningful access for mobile-eco-system entrepreneur's capital, mentorship, industry relationships and industry wisdom. It invests across seed and early stage to growth stage companies, with an average investment of $500,000 to $5 million.
