Chinese Do It yet Again; This Time Intrusion in Uttarakhand

India is particularly disturbed about the increased intrusion as the Chinese leaders want the boundary decision to be exercised and resolved quickly but there is no giving up by the troops stressing on their territorial claims.

In the meanwhile, under the umbrella border mechanism, both the countries who were discussing for making Kibuthu in Arunachal Pradesh as one of the spot for conducting Border Personnel Meetings (BPM) might also have to rethink for a BPM site in Middle Sector after the latest intrusion.

India had projected Lipulekh Pass as a BPM site before but the idea was not taken forward as it involves a difficult trek. So, the two sides are negotiating for establishing a direct line between Indian DGMO (Director General of Military Operation) and PLA headquarters in Beijing.

The recent talk between the two countries was the first such meeting since the three-week standoff in Ladakh. The both sides discussed on how to make the execution of working mechanisms on border matters more efficiently.
