Cars With Best Resale Value In India

2. Hyundai Santro

Hyundai Santro and Maruti Wagon-R faced the most aggressive competition when they were launched at the same time in Indian market. This neck and neck competition took place until the launch of Hyundai i10, which split their sales.

Though Santro is a pretty old car, the sales numbers are good even today. A three year old Santro today has high demand compare to other cars in the same variant.

In 1998, when the car was launched, it offered 1-litre four-cylinder engine which was replaced with a 1.1 litre engine in 2001. Though, the shape of the car has undergone many changes, the demand for it has still remained in the market.

According to a dealer, the price of the used car ranged between 1 lakh to 2 lakh depending upon the model one chooses. Among the low end cars like, Swift, Wagon-R, Alto and others, Hyundai Santro is considered to have the highest resale value.
