Car Of The Week: Chevrolet Sail Sedan

Features:

Space and operations were the two main ends that were concentrated on, while developing the car. The sedan is neatly laid out with spacious interiors, ample boot space, comfortable riding quality and efficient power-plants in both petrol and diesel variants, making it a strong consideration over most of in the entry-level sedans.

But like we experienced in the hatch version, the lacklustre interior fit and finish with infotainment features that leave you asking for more would perhaps once again repel a large number of potential buyers.

The exterior features a modern design which is not futuristic, but rather a safe design something that will appeal to all. With the stylish features like the ‘Hawk Wing’ headlamps, Chevrolet sedan has easily overtaken the looks of U-VA. The car comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version would cost between 4.99 lakh to 6.41 lakh and provide mileage of about 18.2 kmpl and the diesel version ranges between Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 7.51 lakh and provide mileage of 22.1 kmpl. Chevrolet is also giving a brilliant warranty package.

It will be available to Indian buyers in seven exterior colours Velvet Red, Switchblade Silver, Summit White, Caviar Black, Linen Beige, Sandrift Grey and Misty Lake.

Overall the Sail sedan is luxury car with perfect combination of interior and exterior space. The car is quite good when it comes to city performance, but on the highway one would feel that there is need for more power.
