Mojostreet secures $ 350k funding

Hyderbad: Hyderabad based Stealth start up Mojostreet has managed to secure $350k funding for its location based mobile game. The funding is led by Srini Koppolu former Managing Director of Microsoft India, J.A. Chowdary former Managing Director of Nvidia India and Kalyan Manyam, Founder & CEO.
Mojostreet will be limited to 5.5 million locations in India; however founder Kalyan Manyam said that he hopes to launch Mojostreet in the U.S. and Singapore in a very short span of time.
Mojostreet is a location based real world mobile game for Smartphone that lets one compete with their friends by checking into interesting places, sharing your location and experience with them.
Gaming has occupied a special craze in both among young and the old and with 600 million plus mobile phones across India and data plans becoming more affordable Mojostreet believes location based services are going to play a crucial role in community based entertainment & ecommerce. Mojostreet's first product is a location-based app, which will allow users to check in at various point of interests in a game format and one can influence real world experiences and commerce. Mojostreet will soon be available on Blackberry, Nokia, IPhone and Android phones.
The service is expected to be made available via an Invite only private beta by first week of May.
