Fremont: Nelson Mandela was adopted after the death of his father by a Thembu King, Jongintaba and his mother remained alive and well throughout his adoption. Being away from the biological parents could not stop Nelson. His anti-aparthied activities began when he aligned himself with the African National Congress. Later he became the President of South Africa.

The fact of being the adopted kid did not affect his enthusiasm and he created history. Similarly not being the biological kid of their parents could not stop the growing fame of these entrepreneurs whose contribution in their respective industry are great. We present to you five such entrepreneurs.

Naval Tata

Naval Tata, Deputy Chairman, Tata GroupThe former Deputy Chairman of Tata Group, Naval Tata was the adopted kid of the Tata clan. He was adopted by Lady Navajbai Tata, the wife of Ratan Tata who was the second son of Jamsetji Tata. When Lady Navajbai came to see him for the first time, he was wearing a sailors’ suit. He saluted her and she was instantly smitten. Naval was a buoyant person, full of humor.
