Therefore, the management should provide all the necessary options to retain the great employees, apart from giving monetary incentives like bonus and salary hike. Who does not like appreciation? A little bit of spot praise can really make the employee feel good and satisfied as without getting much appreciation for a work can make the employee feel as if taken for granted. Words like "Thank You", "Well Done", and "Great Job" can actually be a valuable reward for employees. Appreciation also encourages employees to deliver better results next time.
