Bangalore: It is a usual trend to rely on the surveys for the box office hits and flops at the end of the year and Torrent has listed the most illegally downloaded movies of the year on its network. The highlight of the list is, movies which got less views in the big screens have got more downloads.

The list was topped by Fast and Furious series “Fast Five” which received more than 9.3 million downloads.  “Hangover II” and “Thor” were in second and third places, respectively with 8.8 and 8.3 million downloads.

“Source Code”,the  story of a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train got the fourth position with 7.9 million downloads. It is followed by “I am number four” which got 7.6 million downloads, and was about aliens and their guardians who joined together to transform Earth as a hideout from bounty hunters.

The list continues with“Sucker Punch” at sixth place .It was directed by Zack Snyder which is a story of a young girl and abusive step father .The girl envisioned a plan which helped her escape from the mental facility which is. It got an overall rating of 6.2 from the website Internet movie data base.

A mountain climber got trapped under a boulder while trekking alone near Moab, Utah and resorts to desperate measures in order to survive. This puts “127 hours” at seventh place with 6.9 million downloads.

Though there is no big difference among the last four positions, the least downloaded was “Harry Potter and Dealthy Hallows part 2 “with 6.03 million downloads but the highest revenue of US $1,328,111,219 .The second last is “The king ‘s Speech” which is the story of king George 6 of Britain. The third last is “Rango” with 6.4 million downloads.
