The Desperate Game Of M&A In 2012
Bangalore: Twelve days through 2012 and M&A is back with vengeance. Mergers and Acquisitions are becoming the signs of desperation rather than good health. Corporate giants are now been accompanied by several startups to play the power game. Where on the one side we saw Apple confirming the acquisition of an Israeli Flash Memory firm Anobit, startups like Indian Equity Partners, an independent PE firm, acquired TNT Express’ domestic road business.

CallidusCloud Acquired LeadFormix
For $9 million, LeadFormix was acquired by CallidusCloud to take their products to North America. CallidusCloud, California-based sales and could SaaS computing company, was looking for marketing automation where as LeadFormix, that provides multi-tenant SaaS solution, was looking for the best in the technology in the marketing automation space. LeadFormix was Co-Founded by Srihari Kumar, Shreesha Ramdas and Sushil Jha in 2008.
