Fremont: Not all great ideas translate into success. Some are launched much ahead of their time. It happens when either the technology used does not support the concept or people's mind set is not so advanced to accept these concepts. The current age has so many technological advancements that it can be hard to keep up with all the expectations of the consumer. However, most of these advancements were basically step ups from previous devices or machines. The modern equivalent equipments of these devices may be widely accepted and distributed now but the original showed up much early to this. Futuristic Tech Products
A host of technical innovations was introduced by Tucker sedan in 1948, which were much ahead of time. The technology included disc brakes, seat belts, fuel injection and a padded dashboard. Yet only a handful of cars was build due to technical and legal problems before the company collapsed. The automobile was conceived by Preston Tucker, and only 51 cars were produced. The company could not produce more due to negative publicity initiated by the news media, a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation and a heavily publicized stock fraud trial.
