Software IT girds to raise VC funding

Bangalore: Hyderabad-based software firm IT Grids (India) is planning to raise 5 Crore venture capital fund for expansion of its 'Party Analyst' product. The Party Analyst is an online election analysis and management product which provides information of the demographic, census and geographic analysis. The political parties use this product as a means to connect with the public and vise versa. The product is used on subscription basis by political parties. It is a free for voters who can connect with leaders and also interact with them. Incorporated by Ashok Dakavaram in 2010, company offers technology consulting, domain consulting, application services, systems integration, custom software development, maintenance, reengineering and independent testing. Former chairman and co-founder of MindTree, Ashok Soota, which recently launched it's IT services firm Happiest Minds Technologies is also looking to raise VC funding for the startup.
