Bangalore: In a bid to help recession affected travelers, Netz Capital, a Mumbai based venture capital fund and advisory has launched netzvzcation.com last week with an investment of 1 lakh. "Now with the help of netzvacation.com, we are providing platforms to travelers to find out cost effective places with better accommodation." said, Nikhil Khekade, Director and Co-founder, netzvacation.com. He also said that travelers can save up to 80 percent by using the service of netzvacation.com. Ameya Gore, Spokesperson, Netz Capital, said, "We are trying to incubate new startup company by investing huge amount of money in series A round." He also said that, Netz capital is also helping 150 students from Mumbai University by giving the technology and infrastructure required to do business. In the first week of launch, netzvacation.com has tried to attract the customers by providing different kind of offers. "People who used to spend 3000 to 20000 to stay for one night in I and II tier cities, can now find accommodation for just 500 to 1000." said, Atul Khekade, Director, Netz Capital. The company, however, is facing competition from mytrip.com, which has established itself as leading online vacation service provider. Atul Khekade says, "It is a big boost for the industry which has not been looked after since long." He also said that India has huge and untapped vacation rental market which has not been looked after yet. Due to recession, travelers are looking for cost effective stay option. In this area, we estimate that there is at least 6000 crore market in India which remains unorganized. Under the umbrella of Airnetz Aviation, Netz Capital was founded in Jan 2009. Netz capital currently has 15 employees and plans to increase the headcount as per need. Said, Ameya.
