HP ties up with SNG College for Dspace solution

Bangalore: U.S. based Hewlett-Packard (HP) has tied up with Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering (SNGCE) in Kerela, to power the Dspace Solution. SNGCE, is launching the digital online repository solution, which help organizations to manage and capture intellectual assets as part of their information strategy. D Space is a package jointly developed by HP and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that provides tools for management of institutional repository. The students can access lecture videos, handouts, assignments, lecture notes, NPTEL video contents and other study material both from college and home (24x7). The DSpace software platform serves a variety of digital archiving needs for research and educational institutions worldwide, ranging from Institutional Repositories (IRs), Learning Object Repositories (LORs), eTheses, Electronic Records Management (ERM), Digital Preservation and Publishing.
