'HP Cloud Maps' can Ease Application Automation

Bangalore: HP one the leading technology company today focused on its add on new feature in Cloud solutions ‘ HP Cloud Maps’.  These Cloud Maps offered by HP is a boon to companies, as they play a role of navigation system which can save days or weeks time involved in architecting infrastructure for applications and Services.



With the new HP Cloud Maps companies can now accelerate automation of business applications on the HP BladeSystem Matrix now known as Cloud System Matrix, so that enterprises can reliably and consistently fast-track the implementation of service catalogs and deploy a private cloud faster and with more confidence. The company provides the most competent, integrated and open system to build and manage clouds.



For those wondering what BladeSystem Matrix is?  It is the industry’s first Convereged Infrastructure solution delivering the benefits of shared services today which makes it an ideal foundation for private cloud.  HP Cloud Maps are available today are all based on BladeSystem Matrix  however the company is striving to provide Cloud Maps that would not HP BladeSystem Matrix for those customers who do not choose matrix.

Shantanu Ghosh, Country Manager, Converged Infrastructure Solutions, HP India spoke about the Cloud solutions by HP through security, cost and quality perspective and also focused on the scope of cloud in India. He briefed the statistics of cloud computing in India and explained about the growth of cloud in the country. As per the calculations traditionally in India 8 to 9 thousand servers are installed per quarter and 15-20 Virtual Machines (VM) can be created for every server that estimates to nearly 1,20,000 VMs every quarter. Out of the many VMs created only 50 percent are used. With the growing Cloud market in India now approx 300-400 VMs are created that means around 2,40,000 VMs come up  every quarter which shows the drastic growth rate of Cloud Computing in India.“Cloud in the Indian Market is still in the surface scratch phase and India has huge potential for Cloud” said Shantanu.
