HCL stock gains by 12.67 percent
Bangalore: HCL Technologies (HCLTECH) stock stood as the top gainer today, when it shot up by 12.67 percent reaching 194.35 points with a total volume of 3,140,659 shares traded. The stock opened the day at 168.70 points and reached a high of 196.70 and a low of 167.20 points, on Monday the stock closed at 172.50. HCL Technologies is the fourth largest IT services company in India with a 52 week high of 306.95 points and a low of 86.65 points. The P/E ratio of the stock is 16.45. Reliance Equity Fund holds 3,547,429 shares in HCL. On Monday, Bloomberg had reported Vineet Nayar, CEO of HCL Technologies has plans to take advantage of the recession by making acquisitions. HCL is also planning to further invest in emerging markets, such as Egypt and South Korea, gets more than half its revenue from the U.S.
