New Delhi: Microsoft is going to provide Live@Edu, an online communication and collaboration solution to about 5,000 students and faculty members Delhi Public School (DPS). The new connectivity solution will help students and teachers to interact and share course material. Students and teachers will have their own personalised ids with '@dps.live.com' as the suffix. They will be able to store information and work collaboratively on team projects. Students would be able to avail mailbox capacity of 10 GB and storage of up to 25GB, said the company. The service will be updated in a regular basis by Microsoft, which will help schools expand the set of services offered to students and alumni. Using this cloud-based offering, DPS will be able to save maintenance costs and reduce the time spent maintaining e-mail systems for students and alumni.
