CallidusCloud Acquires LeadFormix For $9 Million

Califoria: California-based sales and cloud SaaS computing company Callidus Software has acquired marketing automation software provider LeadFormix. The aggregate consideration to acquire LeadFormix consisted of approximately $9 million in cash.

Shreesha Ramdas, COO, LeadFormix says, “We will continue to function as an independent subsidiary of Callidus and would be involved in the cross-selling of Callidus’ products.”

This is the seventh acquisition made by Callidus recently. Of late it has acquired Forcelogix, iCentera, Litmos, Salesforce Assessments, Webcom and Rapid Intake. The current headcount for CallidusCloud along with LeadFormix is around 350-400 employees.

According to Rory Cameron, Vice President, Alliances and Corporate Development, CallidusCloud, “We would bring our large salesforce and the product into the market, and take on North America. Our offerings are all focused around sales, the sales organization and similar marketing department and we were looking for marketing automation. LeadFormix which is into marketing automation was looking for the best in technology in the marketing automation space. Marketing is the life and blood of an organization and we found LeadFormix which we feel is a great fit into our broader vision.”

LeadFormix provides multi-tenant SaaS solution which enables the sales teams to rapidly identify and reach the decision makers and close deals faster. The solution is designed from the ground up, to drive collaboration between marketing, inside sales, and field sales.

Talking about the target audience, Harish Reddy, Head APAC, LeadFormix says, “We would continue with the same genre of customers, more focused on B2B, enterprises, and SMEs. It is just that right now with Callidus’ support we have a larger existing customer base that we can tap into, but the genre of customers that we would go upto would be pretty much the same.”
