Bangalore: Acer has expanded its Acer beTouch phones series by launching the latest E140 smartphone. Running on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, there has been no confirmation no the price and release date of the E140 yet.
The phone's specifications include a 2.8 inch display touch screen and powered by a 600 MHz. Weighing 115 grams, the E140 has a 3.2 MP camera and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G for connectivity support.
It also packs in FM radio and has a memory card slot which can expand the memory up to 32GB. The 1300 mAh battery gives a talk time of six hours and 400 hours of standby time. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twiiter are all integrated in the device.
Acer intends to release the phone by Christmas. The price is expected to be in the range of 200 Euros.
