Grace Kelly was an American actress, who married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and became Princess Consort of Monaco. She was commonly referred to as Princess Grace. Grace is remembered for her mesmerizing charm and angelic looks. She retired from acting at the age 26 to enter upon her duties in Monaco. She and Prince Rainier had three children. Grace died after suffering a stroke in September 1982, when she lost control of her automobile and crashed. The American Film Institute ranked her number 13 in their list of top female stars of American cinema in June 1999.
