Switzerland: With an overall life expectancy of 82.28 years, Switzerland emerges as one of the country where its masses live longer. The Life expectancy at birth in Switzerland is 83 years. In Switzerland, there is a strong sense of community and a good civic participation.

The Swiss are more satisfied with their lives, with 76.4 percent of people exclaiming they have more positive experiences in an average day than negatives. All this are the main reason for this country to come up in this list.

San Marino: One of the world’s smallest countries, San Marino is included in the list too. This is primarily because of the country’s prosperity and the fact that the majority of the inhabitants in San Marino are employed in corporate offices instead of having blue collar jobs. To them, hard labor is equivalent to having a shorter lifespan. Manual labor is less in this country and hence work-related deaths are very less.
Though the entire population is mostly made up of Italian immigrants, its inhabitants can expect to live around two years longer than those in Italy; with an overall life expectancy of 83.12 years.
