Emperador comes under the brandy category. It is produced by a Philippines-based company called Alliance Global Group. Emperador brandy became the world’s best-selling brandy in 2006. The reason behind the success of this brandy was that it was promoted very well when compared with other liquor advertisements. About 31.3 million cases were shipped in year 2012.

4. Bagpiper

Bagpiper comes under the category of whisky and is produced by a Bangalore based company called United Spirits. Bagpiper was the seventh largest selling spirits brand by volume in 2010, according to London-based liquor research firm, International Wine & Spirit Research (IWSR). It is exported to almost 10 countries. Bagpiper was sold highly in India from year 2005 to 2010. About 14.1 million cases were shipped in year2012.
