Dick Fuld
5 Worst CEO's of All Times
The CEO of Lehman Brothers during the period 1994 to 2008, Dick Fuld is overseen as one of the reasons for the fall of the company. His reckless risk taking contributed towards the growth of the company, but his denial to acknowledge that the company was in trouble led towards the downfall of the company. He also did not acknowledge the necessary steps required to save the company. This led the company to file for bankruptcy for an outstanding amount of $613 billion. As the CEO of the company, he ignored the warnings from experts on several issues and refused to talk to buyers. Fuld joined Lehman Brothers in 1969 after giving up his career as an U.S. Air Force pilot. The company's fortune grew under his leadership.
