Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is ranked at 29th position in the list. The company provides information technology (IT) services, business solutions and outsourcing services. It is headquartered in Mumbia. TCS is a subsidiary of the Tata Group and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. It is one of India's most valuable companies and is the largest India-based IT services company by 2012 revenues. In the 2011-2012 fiscal year TCS achieved annual revenues of over $10 billion for the first time. TCS signed a 94-crore deal with the Karnataka government for six-year period to automate its treasury and finance department operations. Deutsche Bank has selected TCS as a strategic partner for their Production Management Transformation Initiative, within their Capital Markets Business Unit. TCS has received a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract to provide application support, maintenance and development services to the gases company Air Liquide.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited is ranked 38th in the list. The Indian global pharmaceutical company is headquartered in Mumbai which manufactures and sells pharmaceutical formulations and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) primarily in India and the United States. The company offers formulations in various therapeutic areas, such as cardiology, psychiatry, neurology, gastroenterology and diabetology. In 2007, Sun Pharma demerged its R&D arm and listed it separately on the stock market as the Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company In 2011, SPARC declared revenue of 58 crore. SPARC focuses on new chemical entities (NCE) research and new drug delivery systems (NDDS).
