5 Conflicts That May Outline 2013

Narendra Modi vs Nitish Kumar
The imminent 2014 polls has something stored for everyone in the political enclosure. Anything can be expected considering the track record of the UPA government or the BJP during this tenure. Modi has gained popularity in Gujarat and has been elected the Chief Minister for the third time consecutively. However Modi still hasn’t impressed the minority which has led to many uncertainties of his party’s stand on his prime ministerial goals.
Nitish Kumar the Bihar Chief Minister from the Janta Dal United (JDU) party is all set for the general elections. Even though JD(U) has formed allies with BJP in other states it has avoided any such union in Gujarat. Even in Bihar Nitish Kumar runs the government with BJP allies. He still carries a subtle opposition to Modi which has become the talk of the political circle in context to the next general election. Modi’s popularity has not impressed Kumar’s party. It was informed by him that his party will not support any candidate for PM who lacks secular values. Keeping its sight on the 2014 elections, BJP is now trying to create an image makeover by reaching out to the minorities in the country.
