There were changes made on this world’s biggest social network that were regarded as transformative and something that would allow instantly social and personalized experiences on the Web. But later on it was found out that the changes allowed the other websites to access and store some of the user’s personal information. Then Facebook announced that they found a bug that made some of the instant message conversations visible to the user’s list of friends. The company CEO Zuckerberg apologized for not explaining the changes properly and for lack of understanding of the public’s privacy concerns. They also launched easier to use privacy settings that would let the user’s choose whom he or she would like to share the information.
