Hungary has recorded high suicide rates over the years.  90 percent of the death by suicide is related to psychiatric illness, which includes major cases of depression, alcohol or drug abuse, schizophrenia or personality disorder, social and cultural factors have a great impact on rising suicide rates. As the depressed patients don’t get even the primary diagnosis or any appropriate treatment, the rate of suicide is not repressed. The country has suicide rate of 24.6 per lakh inhabitants.

7 Kazakhstan
Suicide Rate: 25.6
The central Asian country, Kazakhstan has a long record of suicide cases. As per the 2011 WHO report 3.23 percent of death by suicide was from Kazakhstan. The country shows an unusually high number of suicides of teenagers and young adults.  The country has the highest record of suicides among girls aged from 15 to 19 and second highest among boys. Some of the factors behind these suicides are minor’s exposure to violent images on television, getting bullied in schools and absence or loss of values. The suicide rate is 25.6 per lakh inhabitants.
