3. Nike vs. Reebok

Right since three decades there has been a continuous battle between the two brands to exist on the top place in the market. Nike has its soft focus on male consumers while Reebok extends its market upto both male and female consumers. 1987 seemed a bad phase for Nike as Reebok overtook Nike completely in the market sales but since then both the brands have excelled in their production and sale. Currently, Nike seemed to be at number 1 position with a distant place from Reebok.

4. Energizer vs. Duracell

Gizmos and gadgets have no existence if they are not powered with a battery! Energizer entered the market in the late 1800 while Duracell stepped in the mid 1960’s. Both these companies use a rabbit as a mascot to sell their brands and have done a tremendous work in advertising their batteries. Duracell introduced the concept of ‘alkaline battery’ and gained momentum as the battery delivered high performance and reliability as a power source. In 1959 Eveready company introduced its own alkaline model in the Energizer battery. Duracell might be used in European Advertising but it is far less recognized on American grounds.
