Bangalore: There are many houses around the globe with splendid architecture that are sure to impress you in a big way. Although traditional architecture of historical buildings has undoubtedly been creating an everlasting impact on generations but the marvel of underground homes is no less, which speaks about the imagination of people that is not just limited to innovations in science and technology.

1) Flower-shaped Eco friendly home

This underground eco-friendly home belongs to the British football star Gary Neville. This unique flower-shaped home was designed by Make Architects. Spanning over 8000 square feet of area, this single-storey four bedroom home is believed to be the first zero carbon homes that located in West England. The main aim to build this home was mainly to preserve the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Locally-sourced materials were used to build this house coupled with eco-friendly features including wind turbine- to produce renewable energy. The home looks outstanding when lit during night time because of the glowing floral impression on the landscape, reports Simona Ganea of Best Of, as posted in homedit.com.
