6) Nepean Sea Road

Mumbai is home to many posh residential localities and Nepean Sea road is one among them where buying a house is a distant dream for many. Nepean Sea Road is one of the most expensive locality whcich is in close proximity to Malabar Hills in South Mumbai. This area houses some of the premium apartments in Mumbai like Tahnee Heights and one of the most expensive homes in the world namely Maheshwari House which was recently bought by Sajjan Jindal, the chairman and MD of India’s third-largest steel company, JSW, for a whopping 400 crore. This sea-facing bungalow includes an extensive porch as well as large garden and is situated on Nepean Sea Road and was recorded as one of the biggest property deals in India. Adding to it, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation is also situated on Nepean Sea Road, making the margin of property rates higher. An average apartment on this area will cost around 74,000 per square feet.
