Karnataka Government intended New Laws to Check Fraudulent Land Deals

Bangalore : Karnataka Government will shortly induce much-awaited reforms in revenue connected problems primarily to envision a fraudulent land deals, illicit forms of layouts and corruption in sub register offices. The debate was done for bringing diverse reforms in revenue department Prasad replied that the Congress government is hardly working on this issue for a visible change in the next coming 6 months in the revenue sector.

He stated that the Congress government will frame new rules or amend laws to curb registration of revenue sites, for checking illicit forms of layouts and corruption in sub register offices in and around Bangalore city.

The Government can build a computerized registration of properties by precipitating the ongoing process of desegregating two e-governance schemes of government, Bhoomi (land records) and Kaveri (land registrations). ”This proposed system not only can modify the registration procedure, it can also avoid bogus registration and corruption which is widely plagued in Bangalore rural.” Prasad avowed.

He also said that the government would also bring an alternation to the relevant act to give proper effect to the Right to centre’s fair compensation and clarity in land acquisition, rehabilitation and resettlement Act 2013 to endow fair and compensation to the land owners  who lost livelihood on account of acquisition .

An Action plan to recover land: “The department will soon be prepared with a realistic and time bound action plan for recovery of around 4.5 Lakh acres of government land impinge in the state.” Prasad added.

Moreover, He intended all the deputy commissioners (DC) to prepare an action plan of their respective districts on the directions from high court in response to a PIL filed by the Samaj Parivarthan Samudaya. “Once they are prepared will their action plan we will go ahead with the act to retrieve the impinge lands,” Prasad added.

He said, Totally 13, 02,241 acres of government land have been encroached upon in Karnataka.

43 new Taluks: The government is absolutely looks to execute the proposal of the previous BJP regime for the creation of 43 new Taluks. He said that this would be done in a phase’s manner. The government can fill nearly 237 vacant tahsildar posts, 619 revenue Inspectors posts & 1036 vacant posts of Village Accountants respectively and planning to build a mini Vidhan soudha in all the Taluks.
