Every Inch of Land in Hyderabad Must be Legal

Legal Land in HyderabadHyderabad : To evict the land encroachments in Hyderabad, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao today notified that every inch of land in the Hyderabad should have ownership title and posed authorities to make sure that every piece of land in the Capital had proper ownership papers.
 
“If not, they must get them regularized legitimately according to the Government stipulations”, he added.

He avowed that “50 night shelters would be developed for the poor in Hyderabad, to protect the govt. land from the land encroachers if needed, PD act will be used”.
 
To discuss measures to secure government land for the development of homes to slum occupants and to issue Pattas for lands possessed by poor in the capital city, CM KCR held a gathering with senior officials and Finance Minister Eatala Rajender.

“To a committee of secretaries headed by his Principal Secretary S. Narsing Rao, CM- KCR assigned the job of confining guidelines for protecting the land and managing encroaches, assigned lands and leased” an official release letter said. It will hold an undeniable meeting with Collectors and revenue officers in and around the Capital on December 9.
 
The gathering will measure available government land, constructions, encroachments, vacant and misuse land in Hyderabad.

While interacting with government authorities at the state secretariat, CM Chandrasekhar Rao endured that if the poor lived on government land, surely they will get pattas. The government land should be recouped from encroachers. The authorities should not be uncertain to hand over the occupied land from any ruling leaders under the Preventive Detention Act which worth crores of rupees.

Mr. Rao commented that the government lands and urban ceiling surplus lands were exposed to encroachments in Hyderabad by real estate builders and developers. In the meantime, vagrant labors developed huts and sheds to make a living in the city.  The government will take action towards this and provide an alternate option for living, if they lived in places leading to exhaust.

The collective of people who occupied the government land has created fake documents, stamp papers and certificates were flourishing in the city. Thousands of malpractice cases are filed, KCR added.
 
The new Preventive Detention Act for regularizing the lands and to stop the encroachments will be managed by CS.
