Venice Rumored To Be BlackBerry's Android Smartphone


BENGALURU: John Chen, CEO, BlackBerry announced last week that the company would be making an Android handset. Leaks are pouring news about the most talked Venice handset, the one to be powered by Android. Latest news is about the smartphones launch partner which is showing to be a Blackberry running Android, reports NDTV.

Android-powered Blackberry Venice smartphone is going to be launched by AT&T, US Telecom operator, but no details given about the smartphone an AT&T exclusive or it will be reaching to others in an unlocked version too. The news has come from reliable tipster via a post in Twitter "The Android-powered BlackBerry Venice slider is AT&T-bound," tweets @evleaks on last weekend.

The image posted by the tipster shows the Google’s OS run smartphone also showing multi-window in the display, with a QWERTY keypad and an on screen keyboard as well. From the past rumors, the BlackBerry Venice slider smartphone is said to have a dual-edge curved display.
