Asus Launched the 7.9-Inch Zenpad Z8 with 4G


BENGALURU: The tablet markets are booming around the globe, bringing in elegant designs and extreme performance products at the cheapest possible price. The Chinese smart phone and electronics company Asus introduced its latest flagship tablet Zenpad 8.0 adding up to its performance tab segments. 

The new Asus ZenPad 8.0 is designed with a clean look giving it a universal and stylish appeal that is said to be inspired by the Zen design philosophy of balancing beauty and strength. This device is an 8-inch tablet with a 76.5% screen-to-body ratio made possible by reducing the bezel width to the bare minimum.

Taking a look into the technical specifications, the ZenPad Z8 comes with a 7.9-inch IPS display with 2K screen resolution. The company also claims that the display on the ZenPad Z8 will offer a 178-degree viewing angle. Powered by a 1.4GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 650 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM the device can offer better performance while multitasking. Outfitted with 16GB of inbuilt storage, the device will offer an expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The new Zenpad Z8 runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS layered with ZenUI. The tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It also features a dual front-facing stereo speakers offering DTS-HD sound. The tablet comes with a 4680mAh battery to keep up active for the whole day and comes with 4G connectivity option via SIM. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Glonass, and also a USB Type-C port.
