BENGALURU: Micromax was the only Smartphone company that came close to overtake Samsung in India. According to reports by market research firm, Canalys, Micromax overtook Samsung in Smartphone sales for Q4 of 2014.

However, other firms later denied the reports and Samsung still leads in Indian Smartphone sales. Micromax release Smartphone on large scale to target all major segments like entry level as well as premium Smartphone. Let us look at 10 phones launched by Micromax recently, as compiled by Gizbot.

Canvas A225, the selfie Smartphone, concentrates its features mainly on camera. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Canvas Selfie is offered in two colors: mystic blue and angelic white.

The screen size is 4.7-inch, which comes along 720x1280 resolution and 312 pixels per inch. The processor is a powerful 1.7GHz octa-core with Mediatek chip. RAM size is 2GB and internal memory is offered with16GB.
