Bangalore: The millions wandering in and around World Wide Web crave for only one thing-speed. For such people, nothing is more irritating than a sluggish or unresponsive connection. If you are a person who belongs to that category, then better stay out of these countries since they are officially the countries with “Super-Slow” internet connections.

While some countries like Japan and South Korea enjoy the benefits of super-fast internet connection with an average speed of up to 17.5 Mbps, most of the ‘slow-speed’ countries, including India, listed in Akmai’s “state of the internet” report have connection speeds below 256 kbps.

Here are the nine countries with the slowest internet connection in the world.

#9 Kazakhstan

The internet in Kazakhstan, "Kaznet" is growing rapidly. But 73 percent of users still access the Internet by dial-up. Only 15 percent access internet by means of faster ADSL and 6 percent are using satellite access.
