Bangalore: Yahoo’s new CEO Marissa Mayer started with providing free lunch to employees in the company's Sunnyvale headquarters with an aim to boost the morale of the company. Considering that tech companies usually have some of the best employment perks in the world, it's going to take lots of other perks than just free food. Let’s see some of the best perks tech companies offer their employees.

1. Free Blue Bottle coffee!

Company: Zynga

Zynga employees at their "dog house" headquarters in San Francisco gets free coffee from Blue Bottle which is the best among a lot of good coffees in San Francisco and is also very expensive.

2. Many startups let you bring your dog to work

Companies: Zynga, Getaround

Mark Pincus, CEO of Zynga had a bulldog named Zynga that he always brought to work and Getaround co-founder Jessica Scorpio got a few new puppies earlier this year that she started bringing to work. Both then allowed their employees to bring their dogs to work.

3. Standing desks

Company: Getaround

Another new trend in tech startups is the standing desk where you can stand at work. The desks at Getaround, and many other startups, are modular desks that transform into both sitting and standing desks. They are very costly, though.

4. Arcade games in the office

Company: Kixeye

Considering that most tech employees grew up playing games in arcades, companies like Kixeye have installed Arcade games in their office for the employees who need to take a little bit of a break every now and then.
