The Song “Why this kolaveri” went viral in YouTube and tracked more than 95 million views. With his huge success in the debut songs this 24 years old music director has taken the south Indian industry with storm. Ethir neechaladi, Kathi, Vanakkam Chennai, Vellayilla pattadhari are some of the proofs for his pure talent.

Ankit Tiwari was born to a music loving parents who owns a music troupe "Raju Suman and Party" which used to perform for religious functions. He got the opportunity to learn music at the very young age of three from his grandfather. In 2008 when he shifted to Mumbai from Kanpur he met Pradeep Sarkar who was then emerging as a music director and gave a chance to Ankit for working on jingles.

 He proved his skills and got chance to compose music for Do Dooni Char in and Saheb in 2010. He debuted as a singer in 2011 with his own composition for Biwi aur gangster. He rose to fame with “ Sun raha hai na” from ashiqui 2 which won him Best music director award in 2014 filmfare and won best play back singer for his song “Galliyan” from Ek Villian. This amazingly talented youngster is a promising rock star.
