Unraveling the Isolated Places and Related Stories

Butterfly Beach, SouthGoa

Travelling north of Palolem beach about 27 km from Margao, you will discover a magnificent beach with white sand and crystal clear water. There is no way to reach this beach by road or using any kind of vehicle, since the beach is covered with dense forest. To make the trip more exciting one can trek for 2 hours through the forest. The pleasure of having a sight of the beach after two hours of long trekking through steep-climbs, brooks, fields and forested areas is astounding. Since many people are not aware of this place, the beach remains empty most of the time. Majority of the visitors take a short boat ride from Palolem beach to reach butterfly beach. Only thing that disappoints about the beach is the transportation facility. Otherwise, it’s an amazing beach one can enjoy without any disturbance.
