2. Nohkalikai: Nohkalikai falls is the tallest plunge waterfall with a height of 1115 ft flowing in the east Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya, India. It is the most beautiful and photogenic fall that thunders down crashing brutally onto the rocks that comes on its way.

It is the fourth largest waterfall in the country. The plunge pool created at the bed of the falls with green colored water symbolizes peace. This spot is mostly preferred by the tourists, who are fond of getting close glimpses of nature’s beauty.

3. Nohsngithiang: Nohsngithiang fall is one of the famous spot in Cherapunji, Meghalaya. This fall is commonly known as the Seven Sisters Waterfalls or Mawswami Falls due to the presence of seven cascades coming down in parallel.  

Nohsngithiang is the third highest waterfall in Meghalaya with a height of 1033 ft and an average width of 230 ft. The waterfall looks awesome when it gets illuminated with the sunlight and vibrant colors of the setting sun.
