# 2015 BMW S1000RR

The 2015 BMW S1000RR gets the fully revamped frame geometry to offer improved handling and stability. Though, it looks the same as the previous version, there are lots of changes in the design and it weighs about 4.08 kg lesser now.

2015 BMW S1000 RROther changes are to be seen in the front fairing, seat design and exhaust muffler. The S1000 RR hangs on to the same 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine with 4 titanium valve per head.

The bike has been tuned to churn out 6 bhp more delivering a maximum power of 199hp at 13,500rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 12,000rpm. The latest features of the bike include Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) electronic suspension which is optional. This can only be equipped with the bike if you have a race package which also comes with Dynamic Traction Control, Pro Riding Mode and cruise control.

# 2015 Aprilia RSV4 RR

Here’s another new entrant from the Italian house, the 2015 Aprilia RSV4 RR. Keeping all the looks of the predecessor version, the RSV4 gets some minor changes on the headlight and on the rear view mirrors.

But, it’s the technical side on the bike that gets the major upgrades. It houses the longitudinal 65 degree V-4 engine churning out 999.6cc and has been tuned for a better output of 201bhp of extreme power at 13,000rpm and a top torque of 115Nm.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed cassette type gearbox which is supported with Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system. Besides the high performance Brembo braking system, it gets Bosch 9MP ABS, which can be adjusted to 3 maps and equipped with switchable RLM (Rear wheel Lift-up Mitigation).

The Aprilia has a fully adjustable suspension set-up and the latest APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), electronic safety package including Traction Control (aTC), Launch Control (aLC), Wheelie Control (aWC) on the features.
