Dagshai
It is one of the oldest cantonments in Himachal Pradesh, settled by Britishers. It is located at the height of about 5,700ft. The East India Company founded Dagshai in 1847 for the military settlements of British troops. There is a large playfield, which hosted some of the Durand Cup matches. There is an old church that gives trails of the colonial era. The Dagshai Central jail, built in 1849 holds some of the historic executions here.
