Rotorua:

Rotorua is known for its bubbling mud pools which shoots natural hot springs. This place is also called as the ‘Geothermal city’. The Maori culture is very popular in Rotorua and this place fits for people of any age group from children to old individuals. If you want the trip to be adventurous then do visit the spectacular Whirinaki Forest and Redwood Forest. Whirinaki is the world’s last prehistoric rainforest that makes you feel like you are in the Jurassic era. The forest has trees which stands 60 meters tall. 

Milford Sound:

Rudyard Kipling described Milford Sound as the ‘Eighth wonder of the world’. Geologically this place was carved by the glacier activities during the ice ages. The Milford track has been thrilling hikers for more than a century. The mountain peaks rise from the dark silent waters where kayaker’s can explore the place and meet some of the local resident wildlife—Dolphins, Seals, Fiordland Crested Penguins. Kayaker’s can also enjoy the overnight kayaking adventure in Doubtful Sound which is near to Milford Sound.
