#Rock In Rio

The head banging Rock in Rio festival has come a long way from its inception in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1985. It features a series of music genre’s that include Rock, pop, indie and heavy metal. The rock and roll extravaganza that featured around 1,274 artists has played for more than 7 million people. It goes on for a total of 90 days, with unending pumping music, entertainment and parties. The music edition has so far been held in three cities: Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Lisbon in Portugal and Madrid in Spain. The 4th edition music festivals will be staged in Las Vegas.

The annual music festival Mawazine, features many international artists and local music talents in Rabat Morocco. Among several other events, Mawazine started by Mounir Majidi was one such endorsement to promote the city, Rabat. Over the years, this cultural event has spawned millions of loyal followers who travel for all parts of the globe to be part of this prestigious event.
