Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard Launched In India With A Price Tag Of 8.9Cr

“We have been making armoured vehicles for the last 80 years and politicians, celebrities, CEOs of big corporates own the current generation of S guard. The perception is this is the safest car in the world. This is big responsibility and we do not want it to get into wrong hands. There have been a few instances, not in India, where we have refused to sell the car,” he adds.

The armoured car doesn’t anything out of ordinary instead it looks same as the regular S Class sedan. The car is engineered to the highest level of protection of VR9 and it is most secure vehicle for a non armed force car worldwide. The car can protect its passenger from any sort of ballistic attacks by any kind of gun.

The shots from pistols, revolvers or rifles even an AK47 cannot bypass through the walls of the car. Along with guns, it is resistant to the two hand grenade attacks at a time and land mines as well as chemical weapons.

The Mercedes vehicle is immune to the naked flame as it completely sealed from outside and an automatic system activates in case of fire to extinguish it. The passengers get the emergency oxygen mask in escape from smoke, irritant gases or lethal gases.

The car is fitted with a Michelin PAX run-flat tyres which is capable of running up to 80Kmph even with damaged tyres. Along with strong pair tyres, the tyres are equipped with pressure monitoring system that allows the car to get away from a danger zone up to 30Kms.
