Bone and Horn Crafts, Odisha

Bone and Horn Crafts is considered as one of the oldest art forms in India. Cow horns, Buffalo horns, stag antlers and tusks are used in horn crafts.  The testaments of this brilliant craftwork include stylized birds and animals which seem alive. Amazingly, cranes look as if they could talk if they opened their beaks and the birds appear to be twittering. The craft also produces beautiful pen stands, cigar boxes, table lamps, pepper and salt sets, napkin rings, chess sets and more.
