Jack Daniels: When someone utters the word Jack Daniels at a high rated club or gentlemen’s lounge, the whole place goes to frenzy. This is the kind of brand name that Jack Daniel’s has become. Everybody wants to get their hands on a Jack Daniels bottle. One amazing fact however, is that you can actually buy a whole barrel of whisky from the legendary Tennessee’s distillery.

One barrel contains about 252 bottles of whiskey and is said to cost $10,000 to $12,000. The American U.S military is said to be the largest buyer of these single barrel whiskey. Jack Daniels’ is named after the founder and an American distiller, Jasper Newton Jack Daniels.

However, America won something else, the rights to own and market Smirnoff. Smirnoff is one of the oldest vodka brands in the world which was created in Russia. Unfortunately, Russia couldn’t hold on to this drink as it landed in the hands of an American company in 1939. The problem with Smirnoff in America was that, the people of America were whiskey lovers, so it was a hit right away.
